Qdos Event Hire is delighted to be supporting the PDC World Darts Championship for the third successive year. The hugely popular sporting event is taking place from December 18th to January 4th at London’s Alexandra Palace.
Organiser Sports Event Services has called upon Qdos to provide a range of equipment for the duration of the event including:
- 7 x 32’ x 10’ with a variety of designs and layouts, including open plan jackleg cabins complete with staircases
- 2 x gents (18 man) waterless urinal units
- 2 x luxury 3+2 fresh water flushing mobile units, one of which is for the Sky Sports broadcast compound
In addition the Qdos team will be on-hand to service all equipment throughout the tournament.
The event boasts the largest stage and widest set of the professional darts game which is installed in Alexandra Palace’s West Hall. In the Great Hall there is a technical and media village for outside broadcast, production offices, dressing rooms for officials and media and press facilities. A purpose built fans village includes William Hill Bookmakers, bars and a variety of food outlets.
The final will be broadcast live on January with Phil Taylor currently favourite to re-take the title from defending champion Michael van Gerwen.
