Qdos Event Hire has been providing accommodation and welfare services to the event industry for 10 years this month. It all began when we delivered our brand new cabins to our very first client, the Farnborough International Air Show, as preparations for the 2010 event were underway.
Given the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on not just the world of events but the wider economy, our original plans to celebrate this milestone have had a re-think. This begins with our commemorative logo which we have unveiled today (9th April 2020). You’ll notice that it incorporates the recognisable blue of our wonderful NHS, this is in support of the event and entertainment industry wide #MakeItBlue campaign. Launched by industry stalwarts it aims to shine a light on the brave NHS staff who are risking their own health to care for others during the current pandemic.
We’re incredibly proud of our work over the last decade and the business that we’ve built. Our extensive fleet of cabins, modular buildings, toilets and showers, which we add to and refurbish on a regular basis, are supplied to many of the UK’s most prestigious events including the Royal Windsor Horse Show, Chelsea Flower Show, Goodwood Festival of Speed, PGA Golf Championships, Wimbledon, The Game Fair and British Grand Prix.
As many of these events are postponed, or indeed cancelled, it’s important that now more than ever, that we stand together as an industry, and support the NHS, emergency services and government wherever we can. #StrongerTogether #StayatHome #ProtecttheNHS #SaveLives
