When Radio 2 Party in the Park headed to Preston’s Moor Park this September, Qdos Event Hire was appointed by Festival Republic to deliver sanitation solutions for guests, artists and VIPs backstage along with press and production areas.
With an impressive line-up that included Sting, Pet Shop Boys, Sugababes, Snow Patrol, Craig David Travis, Manic Street Preachers. Gabrielle and Sister Sledge, we were asked to provide high-end facilities.
The event was serviced by our northern operations team who have a wealth of experience in the event and festival market that includes a long-standing relationship with the Festival Republic team.
Our solution included units from across our premium range of washroom and restrooms, from jackleg mains toilets, accessible toilets and showers to our VVIP luxury vacuum toilet trailers and urinals. The welfare facilities were distributed to all areas of the site including stage areas, back of house, artist areas and the site/production compound.
In total 25 units were suppled and included our jackleg toilets in a combination of male, female, gender neutral and accessible. We also supplied luxury VIP toilet blocks for headliners, sponsors, the BBC and VIP ticket holders.
Included within our remit was the servicing of all units throughout the show days and we had a cleaning team, consisting of a manager, six supervisors and seven cleaning attendants ensuring that all units were on hand to ensure everything was pristine.
